Media Manager

This service has been designed as a management tool to help those responsible for placing a company's advertising determine precisely which parts of a campaign are successful and which are not. At the same time, it indicates how effectively your sales force manages the incoming sales enquiries.

Media Manager tracks direct responses to both telephone numbers and web addresses published in advertisements that your company buys.

How it Works

There are two parts to monitoring the direct response received from each advertisement you place:

  • How many calls did the advert generate?
  • How many hits did your web site receive?
 

Telephone Response

As part of the Media Manager package, you will receive a series of 0870 numbers. When you wish to place an advertisement, you use one of these 0870 numbers as the contact number instead of your normal telephone number. When the 0870 number is called, the call will seamlessly divert to your actual number ("Terminating Number") and we will log the call on our database.

The system works because the number used is unique to each advert, so you should not use each 0870 number in more than one place or you will not be able to determine which advert generated the call.

Web Response

We can also provide you with a new domain name/web address dedicated solely to monitoring responses to your advertisements. Each time you wish to place an advertisement, our system will enable you to generate a unique web address to publish. This address will divert instantly to your chosen web site address (usually your home page) and, in the process, register a unique visit on the database so that you can ascertain how many "hits" you received as a result of that specific advertisement.

Viewing the Data

We will set up an online account for each service. You can logon at your leisure (24/7) to view the call and web data that your various adverts generated. Generally, this information is updated in real time.

Bespoke Call Announcement

You can also opt to include a call announcement service that will tell you when you are receiving a call generated by one of your advertisements. This enables staff to be prepared for the incoming sales call.
